Judo Serbia Open becoming part of elite company of eight EJU Cups

It was officially announced that Judo Serbia Open will become a European Cup and part of the European Judo Union official calendar in 2011. Agreement was signed by Mr Ivan Todorov, President od Serbian Judo Federation and Mr Sergey Soloveychik, president od EJU on EJU Congess held in Kiev on November 27 2010.

Štefan Cuk the best coach of Serbia Open 2010

Coach of Slovenian National Team was proclaimed the best coach of 2010 Serbia Open. The golden medal won by Matjaž Trbovec (up to 60 kg category) silver of Tadej Železnik (66 kg) and bronze medal of Tadej Čeh (73 kg) secured the title for the trophy-winning coach. Continue reading

ABDULO TANGRIEV BEST COMPETITOR

He came back for the gold.

Serbia Open this year once again justified the name judo spectacle. The audience in Belgrade enjoyed the top Olympic sport, which included competitors from 20 countries, winners of Olympic, world and continental prizes.
Abdulo Tangrijev (over 100 kg) from Uzbekistan was announced the most successful competitor, who defended his medal won last year in Šumice.
