Elite in ’Šumice’

The Red Star Judo Club will be the host to the European Serbia Open Tournament Cup for Seniors on October 22 and 23 in the Sports Center Šumice in Belgrade.

For four years in a row, tough fighters – the winners of Olympic, world and continental awards and young judokas whose time on a tatami is yet to come, are the guests and the participants of the competition organized by JC Red Star.

We are proud to emphasize that as of this year Serbia Open is in the group of competitions under auspices of EJU, in the group of European cups. This is precisely the reason why in this year, 2011, in Belgrade, we are going to be the hosts to brilliant judokas, over 250 of them from more than 28 countries.

Just like in earlier years, the spectators, i.e. the judo lovers, will have the opportunity to enjoy excellent matches on the tatamis in ‘Šumice’.

The start of qualification matches on Saturday and Sunday, October 22 and 23, is scheduled at 10 o’clock and the finals matches are scheduled at 6pm.
